"Compassionate, evidence-based nutrition for fertility and women’s wellness."

🌿My Journey into Fertility & Women's Health Nutrition
Hi I'm Wai
I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a fertility-focused dietitian, and a mum.
My path into fertility and women's health nutrition is both professional and deeply personal. I didn’t begin this career with a plan to specialise in this area — but life, motherhood, and reflection led me here.
In my early 30s, while working full-time, I began preparing for my first baby.
At the time, I didn’t fully understand how important it was to prepare my body nutritionally — not just to conceive, but to support a healthy pregnancy and give my baby the best possible start in life.
I developed preeclampsia, and my son was born prematurely. It was a difficult and emotional time.
Later, when I hoped for a second child, I was told I needed to be in a healthier body before trying again.
But aside from knowing I needed to “lose weight,” I didn’t know what that actually meant — or where to go for help.
That second baby never came. And to this day, I wonder how different things might have been if I’d had the right support.
Before becoming a dietitian, I earned an MBA and worked in finance and business.
Over time, I felt a strong pull to do something more meaningful. That led me to an interest in nutrition with a deep desire to understand the science of food and health. I wanted to support my own wellbeing and that of my family, and also build a fulfilling career helping others take control of their health through evidence-based nutrition.
My own pregnancy journey gave me the drive to learn the science of fertility nutrition, to take ownership of my own health, and to help other women do the same — especially those preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility challenges, or managing complex women’s health conditions like PCOS or endometriosis.
I returned to study for six years and I’m now an Accredited Practising Dietitian, registered with Dietitians Australia.

🌸What "Myitta" Means
The name Myitta Wai Nutrition comes from the Burmese word “Myitta” — meaning loving-kindness or compassion.
It shares roots with the Buddhist word "Metta", which reflects care, empathy, and goodwill.
This spirit is at the heart of how I practise — with respect, non-judgment, and a genuine wish to support you on your fertility, women's health, or nutrition journey.
🌼I’m Here to Support You
Fertility nutrition isn’t just about getting pregnant.
It’s about giving your future child the healthiest possible start — and honouring your own wellbeing, body and journey along the way.
